Friday was supposed to be the day I walk to the local Grahamstown Hospice to find myself some vintage clothing treasures but I found myself discovering literary treasures instead.
Some I have never read and must, while others I would love to read again.
Next time I'll be focused and get some clothes.
(ph: me)
ps. I recommend Ken Saro-Wiwa's Soza Boy to everyone, everyone in the world!
I've known and loved this song for a while now but I only saw the video today! Despite that, I think it is an awesome video for an equally awesome song... "I'm going overseeeaaasss/ Come fly with me / I'll give you aaalll..."
It's also very sweet with beautiful, romantic lyrics which - I guess - makes it appropriate for today, obviously.
I am sure that the first time you scrolled down this editorial you were taking a look more at the young man's face than the actual clothes, I therefore advise that you scroll back up and take another look - at the clothes that is. If, however, it takes you a while to get there I fully understand. Really I do.
Soo Joo Park; a South Korean model I stumbled upon a few weeks ago, she makes me want to throw away all the clothes in my cupboard and start over again. A fleeting but strong impulse.
And yes, I am also noticing a strong pattern in my recent posts - I currently have a thing for cool Koreans, lol.
