I don't know if it was the song that first caught my attention, or if it was the beautiful way in which the video was put together. The genius of this video lies in the beauty of Zaki's outfit (a bow-tie, what a move!), the acrid charm of the township, and the edge of the black and white pictures --- both the song and video are "growing into my heart".

Ode to a Liner

So...I lost my Rimmel Liquid Liner last month --insert long, drawn out and dramatic sigh-- to some of you it may not seem like a big deal but, to the struggling student who lives way beyond her means, its a big deal.
I was in the midst of perfecting the "cat eye", instead of doing it and re-doing it until resembling a junkie or raccoon, I had finally aced the complex make-up style with one, effortless (and symmetrical)  "swish". 
Ah...gone are the days, I'm not sure when I'm going to buy another one but by the time I get it I will most definitely be out of practice.
I guess its back to 'raccoon vibes' for me.

Truth

Hard Times.

I have been gone for a while I know, don't worry though - I  am neither dead nor missing, I am simply trying to catch up with work. I would love nothing more than to talk to you all but I'm going through some HARD TIMES...I predict this nihilism will come to an end on Friday (woooop!) and then its just me and you (:
